New director of search promotes best-practice SEO

London, UK, 9 October 2007 - The rapid growth experienced by SEO and online brand positioning company, Netrank, has prompted the promotion of Chris Dugdale to the post of Director of Search. In this new capacity he will handle company operations and manage the development of all of Netrank's product offerings. This new role reinforces Netrank's belief in sustainability.

Netrank's SEO team works hard to build strong, long-term ROI, achieved through ethical best practice which sits at the very core of Netrank's search offering. As SEO becomes more mainstream and the industry grows to maturity, the big players in SEO are driving transparency with less tolerance of secretive behaviour or shady tactics. Chris will continue to drive the openness of Netrank's search culture.

Chris Dugdale comments: "The industry is going to thin out somewhat over the coming years; those that cannot generate results for their clients without resorting to unethical tactics will wane in fortune, leaving thebastions of transparency to lead the way. Chris joined Netrank in April of 2002 as a remote worker. Shortly thereafter he was offered a post within the SEO team and within four months he became head of that team. Chris has since conducted consultancy on some of the country's biggest brands' sites, spoken at industry conferences and written white papers on various aspects of search.
